Little Pamet Garden

A hilltop in the rolling landscape of Truro, MA with views of the Little Pamet River are the perfect setting for this new contemporary home.  JJLA worked with the clients and the architect to create an arrival sequence appropriate for the home, an arrival garden and parking court; as well as developing a strategy for screen plantings around the property.  Groves of Amelanchier trees surround the parking court to create shade and give scale to the space.  A new bluestone path moves through the arrival planting to bring people to the front door and groves of evergreen provide screening of the neighboring houses and give the clients privacy in the garden spaces.  A bluestone terrace on the lower level connects the living space to the rest of the property and provides a starting point for venturing down the hill toward the wilds.
