This Mid-Century Modern pool house conversion for a young family provides new arrival and entrance within a woodland setting.  The new entry garden of fieldstone steps and fern connect to the historic terrace steps as you descend down the hill toward the front door.  A minimal planting palette of contrasting textures frames the approach to the building.  A new mahogany deck extends the living area outside of the house into the garden.   A modern pool enclosure of wire mesh preserves the integrity of the modern aesthetic while providing the necessary enclosure for safety.
